DC-AC Converter with Dynamic Voltage Restoring Ability Based on Self-Regulated Phase Estimator-DQ Algorithm: Practical Modeling and Performance Evaluation

A self-regulated phase estimator (SRPE)-based DQ algorithm for a DC-AC converter with dynamic voltage restoring (DVR) ability is presented in this paper. When compared to the conventional phase-locked loop (PLL), provided controller can significantly reduce distortions and low-order harmonics from load while attaining quicker response. Furthermore, fundamental attribute of allows integrated operate at consistent frequency eliminating oscillations. The SRPE utilized primarily control theory as reference generator which compensate grid voltage. has good band-pass filtering properties mathematically simple structure that thoroughly attenuate imbalance quick been made be frequency-adaptive using damping factor robust estimation. maintain 50 Hz keep total harmonic (THD) within 5% limit even during disruptions. SRPE-DQ’s stability are examined. experiment carried out show efficacy suggested complete system. There also comparative simulation studies benefits technique. results reveal approach immediately identify correct any assisting maintaining constant side despite sag/swell distortions.
